Student 健康 Plan (SHP)
2023-2024 Blue Cross Blue Shield Student 健康 Plan Policy
In accordance with the State of Massachusetts “Student 健康 Program - SHP,” students enrolled in at least 75% of the full-time curriculum at any Massachusetts institution of higher education are required to participate in a school-sponsored qualifying SHP or an alternate health plan with comparable coverage. Students meeting this criterion are automatically billed for the SHP.
Blue Cross Blue Shield (BSBS)
马塞诸斯州大学波士顿 partners with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) for the 2023-2024 academic year to provide health insurance coverage for students.

- Undergraduate Students: Enrolled in 9+ credits
- Graduate Students: Enrolled in 7+ credits
- International Students: All matriculating international students enrolled in 1+ credit hours are automatically enrolled in the SHP and cannot waive it unless covered by an embassy-sponsored plan, acceptable US-based insurance, or a Massachusetts Connector Plan covering medical evacuation and repatriation.
Undergraduate students enrolled in less than 9 credits: May be able to purchase health insurance through 马塞诸斯州大学波士顿. 电子邮件 bursar@yogaintheusa.com for more information.
All other students should inquire about their insurance eligibility by contacting the Bursar's Office.

Wellfleet - International Direct 健康 保险 Plan
马塞诸斯州大学波士顿 partners with Wellfleet Student and University 健康 Plans (UHP) to provide health insurance coverage for international students. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) for the 2023-2024 academic year to provide health insurance coverage for students.

All UMB International Direct students are automatically enrolled in the UMB International Direct SHIP, requiring no action.

Obtaining Your 保险 Card

To waive the student health insurance plan, submit an online waiver to the Bursar's Office, certifying alternative coverage. Access the waiver online through WISER.
